They don’t automatically eject the casing onto the ground. The casing is where the fingerprint would be found.

My Beretta Centurion APX holds 16 rounds and I have 21 round mags for it.

Next trip to the range bring some tape & graphite powder and perform a quick, dirty test.

If undetectable, keep in mind there are several other more sophisticated tests labs can employ.

Or just wear gloves when loading mags or reloading brass.
