Use archive.org. The archive.today sites (.is, .vn, .fo etc) datamine your clicks and sells it, if they can't (certain VPN's and TOR) they put up an unpassable captcha making it a virtually dead link. archive.org doesn't do this.
Oh, I didn't know this! Thanks for telling me. When I talk about it working better, I was referring to how the archived page comes out - I find archive.is has better "fidelity" than archive.org. I always had some wrong "gut" feeling about archive.is after they blocked Brave and Cloudflare DNS.
I do like how Archive.org saves the link in the URL, so if they go kaput we at least still know what the link was. The Archive.is url is shortened, so if they go kaput all the archived links are gone as well.
