I like the analogy, but I think the separation of power and technology are so great that the old rules don’t apply. The collapse only applies to us, it would only render us an even more vulnerable host. An extremely degenerate organism who’s goal is universal degradation, is not harmed by the crash that degradation creates. The crash is their goal.
