This doesn't just apply to Poal, either. Anytime you share a link on social media, if you put that on the end, it will start showing up in metrics and be sucked up by SEO trackers and whatnot. For example, if you posted https://www.foxnews.com/?=poal.co on reddit, the webmaster at foxnews.com would still be logging the poal metric.
