Not aliens. High tech military equipment.

Most people fail to realize that what we know about the "latest" technology is about 20 years behind what presently exists, particularly in the areas of aviation/avionics and weaponry,

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

All it takes to go from 100 years ahead to 1 year ahead is a breakthrough.

That's like saying anything is possible, of course it is but logic would dictate that it is at minimum 100 years more advanced than current technology. That would be the logical assumption given the rate of technological improvements over the past 100 years.

They can apparently pass through ocean water without slowing down, and have inertial dampers. That would make them pretty advanced. If such things are even possible.

Two of the UFOs I've seen were on a low-altitude USAF flight path. Pretty sure they were military.

The others I'm not so sure about.

Triangles, anything that could be a lifting body would for sure be military tech. The part that interests me is a cylinder was described. Probably still mil tech, more fascinating possibilities.

The thing is they are so far outside of current Technologies it would mean we are hiding many decades worth of advancements

People see ghosts. People see UFOs. I tend to think the same psychological mechanism is involved, except ... the films and radar records of UFO sightings suggest they may be more tangible than ghosts, at least some of the time.

I don't think you can compare a ghost sighting to a fighter pilot having radarlock on something that is clearly there.
