Depends. Many Latin Americans who identify as white are mixed. Many who are actually white are so heavily steeped in non-white culture they're effectively not white and side with Latinos over non-Latinos. In Puerto Rico they're encouraged to identify as white on the Census. This is why Puerto Rico is officially considered 75% white and why the Census is not a reliable source for demographics. Race in Latin America is not perceived the same way as it generally is in the US, and it's even further from the way we see it.

I'm half Spanish. My generation is the first to be born in the US after leaving Spain. I would never ever fucking marry and have children with a white Latin American.
