No, it isn't. Insects are basically protein and keratin. And even if it was(it isnt), it isn't like some magic filter on your mouth is stopping you from eating more of it.

Should we ban beans and nuts and cheese because they might cut into the glorious meat consumption? They have protein. They are a substitute for meat. What is your argument even about? Because it's bugs? Don't eat it then.

Beans, nuts, and cheese are no substitute for beef. The fats in beef give you energy unlike any other food. Only bison could replace beef.

What is your argument even about? Because it's bugs? Don't eat it then.

It's not about that, they are making beef uneconomical. Forcing us who don't want to eat insects to eat it.

I'm not sure how you folks can't see this, and not realize the society we live in now is due to many people that say, "don't worry about it, it doesn't apply to you and I".
