I feel drawn to Christianity but I can't shake the fact that Jesus was well, you know, Jewish. What do you have to say on the matter? Not being provocative, just curious.

These men are are being led by a deceitful spirit and not by the Holy Spirit. They are confused and contradict themselves many times. The Spirit gives us understanding and wisdom, something of which these men have not. We are called to worship in Spirit and in Truth. John 14:26 " But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you." 1 John 2:27 "But the annointing which ye hath received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

Concerning the trinity not being found in the Bible, it is never directly stated but is inferred from MANY scriptures as they themselves acknowledge. Here is one they conveniently forgot to include, that directly states that Jesus is God and God is Jesus. 1 John 1:1 " In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The reason these men can't understand the Holy trinity is because they try to use their own knowledge and lack the wisdom of the Spirit. Be careful of men like these, they will lead you astray. 1 Timothy 6:20-21. Peace and blessings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You know the roman church slaughtered 3 entire nations for not accepting the papal trinity.

The Ostrogoths, Vandals and the Herulis. Wiped from existence because they would not accept such an unbiblical teaching.

You are mistaking John 1:1 because you are not reading it in greek. In greek the word God is first a noun, and its 2nd use in the verse is an adjective.

See for yourself https://biblehub.com/text/john/1-1.htm

The verse is saying Jesus is like God. Aka has His divine nature. Not that He is the only true God Jesus mentioned in John 17:3

>And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Jesus shares Gods nature because He was brought forth out of God.

That is why His angelic name "Michael" literally means "one who is like God".

The holy spirit is simply Jesus' spirit. Not a 3rd separate being. 2nd Corinthians 3:17 states it point blank.

>Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Jesus also says it point blank in John 14:17

>Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:** but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you**, and shall be in you.

He is speaking of Himself. "but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you" Who was dwelling with them? Jesus was!

A third being separate from the Father and His Son is not found in scripture. And can only be defended by tradition and twisting scripture out of context.

It's amazing to me, all of your own contradictions and twisting of words. You can not understand the Word of God without the Holy Spirit giving you understanding. I could go on for hours refuting your doctrines, but I need not because the Word of God does it itself. I'm concerned for you and your commitment to "knowledge" without the Holy Spirit teaching you. Woe to those who mistake good for evil and evil for good. My prayers will be that God opens your eyes and saves your soul before it is too late. God bless my friend.
