We cancelled our Costco membership. They were splitting families up in to goups of two, making people walk single file, and made everyone wear masks. Fucking insane in there.

Unsurprisingly, our Sam's Club was almost out of business, but now they are booming! They don't even ask if you want a mask. There is always someone else who wants your money!

I have not. Not even once. Neither have my wife and two little girls. My wife was telling me she saw a body builder type guy at the grocery store wearing a mask that read "The media is the virus." He kept eyeballing them feeling pretty pussified.

Wearing a mask that says something like that is kind of like waving an "I hate fags" sign on a gay pride float. LOL

I'm lucky though. I thought there'd be some head butting at work but my employer has said "If you want to fight it, fight it". There are enough shops around that don't make a big deal about masks that I can get everything I need. I don't go out looking for a fight, I just try and get my shit done. The only person who has said anything is one young girl at the grocery store who reminded me I'm supposed to be wearing one. I get a lot of high fives from people though, and one guy came up and thanked me for not wearing one. It's nice to see other non-maskers out in the wild since 99% of people have them on.

My son broke his elbow two weeks after the mask madness started. They wouldn't let me in the hospital with him without it.

But beyond that, I've not worn one anywhere. I've gone home from driving almost two hours and being told I couldn't enter without it, I made my kids miss out on holiday public functions because of it, I just refuse to do it. If it had been me instead of my five year old with a broken elbow, I probably would've left the hospital, too.

Did once to buy fireworks from a nice Indian lady who sells them out of her basement, and sucked it up another time to go out for my friend's bachelor party dinner. In which case, I wrote "useless placebo" on it and only wore it to get past the hostess stand. Fuck masks.

There are conditions that existed pre covid that are valid environments for masks but no I have not worn one for any that have expanded beyond pre covid era mask rules
