Charity begins at home. Why? Because if you are right there, you know who needs the help and who is a scam artist. That's the problem with organized charities -- they are remote, and they operate through multiple layers of parasites, so that almost nothing donated gets to anyone who needs the charity. Look around you, and you will find someone who needs help, and will appreciate the help and give to someone else when they have more to give.
