IMO, no.
AFAIK, Mumble is encrypted point to point, but the server owner can access/store the unencrypted data. Paranoid people will not like the idea of having recorded proof of whatever they said. I don't see how a system like this woudn't have the admins constantly being accused of abuse.
You have a good point but as far as I’m aware it doesn’t allow me to record anything without notifying the user, but it’ll be a non issue soon as I’m introducing something new soon, the voice chat should be pure p2p server facilitated the hand shake then fucks off in theory at least.
But even is it's fully anonymous, I don't think that having user verification is a good idea.
Not forced, but available if people want it maybe.
