I saw the other day and even commented on it, now certain words will get things flagged as not safe for work, is that censorship?

My personal opinion is that in a way it is, I’d love to get you guys perspective.

Only when I get drunk and want to harass SBBH. Otherwise, no. It's cancer.

I had pretty much given up on Voat, only checking it a couple times a week, but after the Q migration, have been back to checking it a few times a day.

I get the idea they are doing with the NSFW stuff and only on system subs, so seems like still risky to browse at work. Seems they would need to have some sitewide filter that correlates to your NSFW preference applied to ALL subs. Or better yet, don't filter, do replacement - nigger -> orc, fuck -> F@$! etc etc if your NSFW option is off.

I'm glad to see Putt is back and active. I think we at Poal were part of that. Our migration, though small, was noticed. I wish he would quit trying to fix shit that isn't broken or being requested / demanded by the community. And that site is still 1 car accident of major life change away from disappearing forever.

Browse often, but not post. Mainly because it's filled with Q-cucks that have already got lobotomized, but also because PuttItOut got an erection when they moved in. It has the scent of a premier CIA nigger honeypot too.

Really it's just a matter of time before Poal is shut down too. The only future for free speech is P2P, and overcoming the spam problem is quite difficult. With blockchain proof of work it comes down to only the rich get to speak/spam, so there needs to be some sort of human test which hasn't yet been figured out because humans are really good at programming computers to act as retarded as humans.

I'm on voat, 8ch.net, reddit, and stagevu. I occasionally check in to voten.co, but its mostly a ghost town (no idea why the QAnon folks didn't go there). I dropped saidit, and raddle....too many SJW commie 'tards to deal with, and wherever they go, censorship is never far behind. For that reason, I'll likely drop reddit eventually, or get banned. To answer the question, I'm not too opposed to NSFW, other than I think it sucks that some are being paid on company time to screw off , and this NSFW sorta helps them do that (hopefully the boss will catch them eventually).

I only comment now to insult people. You fucking cunt. 😎

Cunt is a term of endearment, so you’ll have to try again 😎

No. I don't have enough time to hang out in two online communities.

I still actively participate.

Voat seems to have a lot of newer users that intend to fragment the base. There is mindless criticism of boomers and millennials than there was three or four years ago, when 100 upvoats on an Atko post was a lot. Valid criticism needs to have an argument to support it.

This is a grey area for me and I can see arguments in both ways... Is it really censorship if the individual user has the choice to display content flagged as NSFW or not? What about logged out or unregistered users? Is flagged content hidden by default of not? Who gets to decide what is and is not flagged? Who are the thought police? Is it better to hide some content in a configurable way if it means the site is accessible to a wider audience?

I think I come down on the side of thought police being bad and it sets a bed precedent. Some administrator (no matter how well intentioned) is making a predetermination as to what is and is not acceptable
