I have been there a few times. You can do this with any car(in the past) but if you want to engine brake down a large grade it better be fuel injected. Engine braking with a carburetor is gonna blow your exhaust up as soon as you turn the ignition on. Also engine braking will retain your power brakes whether they are vacuum or hydraulic.

Most new cars are so faggoty you can't even do any of this.

I've rolled into gas stations before after running out of gas. Pretty awesome feeling of relief. This was all moreso when I was younger and broke, only buying gas as needed.

I went to the land of milk and honey, but it's kinda too late for the critics, unless you have millions to blow. I won't be explaining it on the web, least of all to another Californian anyways, hahaha, jk mate.

I hear Idaho is good, but there are lots of good places to go, anywhere in the wilderness will buy you time, but you must secure a water source. I would suggest south-south America if you are serious and on a budget. Stay away from the equator is the rule.

I too was born and raised in a beautiful little town, and was tormented over the years watching it get inundated by parasites.

I am still beholden to the American dream, and if the boogaloo actually kicks off, I will leave my paradise and happily die defending justice with you fine folks, but no niggers around me please.
