For the year I've been on Poal, I have noticed that most posts that get comments have just one sentence comments and sometimes they're not even complete sentences. This makes the engagement seem very low energy. Why isn't there more in depth commentary and discussion?

They disabled downvoats which makes the angry beta males get into hissy fits in comments vs manly downvoating and moving on. Sorry but Voat was better.

You can still downvote, but it's set so if you're a serial downvoter it counts against you.

I've downvoted a few posts in my time here, but not many.
