From my experience they don't seem to have the same sense of shame and discreetness that white people have (well, some white people, I've witnessed really trashy white people air their dirty laundry in public), and they don't have sensory sensitivity to loudness. In their families they talk very loudly, even at home. They seem to not have a shred of care that everyone around them can hear their entire conversations. For some reason when they have drunken arguments they love to go outside of their home and yell loud enough so that the entire neighborhood can hear. They don't have any social shame about how dysfunctional they are. They don't even seem to be aware of others in some ways.
Then they absolutely cannot listen to music without installing a 500-1000W amped subwoofer and cranking the volume to the max so that the entire street shakes. Again, they aren't considering other people. They don't even see being loud as negative. I would think that when they want to sleep at night surely they would be annoyed if someone were pumping bass through their walls, and then would cognitively make the connection that they're being rude and inconsiderate by doing this themselves, but it doesn't seem to even enter their minds. It's weird.
I have heard that in Mexico it's very loud everywhere. At 5:00 AM the landscapers will just rev up their leaf blowers and equipment and not give a fuck who they're waking up. Then the garbage trucks have a giant alarm on them so that they can alert people that they are picking up the garbage so that people can run outside with their garbage cans to be picked up. These alarms are LOUD, like a siren.
I don't understand it at all.
