I've met numerous people that would offer you "a coke" then bring you a Dr. Pepper, root beer, damn near anything BUT a coke. There were others besides "a coke" but seems I've forgotten. What do they call it in your area?

I thought this was gonna be the great "soda" or "pop" question. Where I grew up we said soda.
