Well what we learned from Voat recently was that a big migration needs guidance from an admin on the new site, new rules, new etiquette. And the earlier the better. Refugees did not get that until a day or two after and by then many had been abused by locals and said fuck it and left. Many deserved the abuse. They assumed it was a new reddit with same rules etc with no one to guide them. Hell, until now their "mods" from reddit still say voat subversive instead of subverse.

Well if that were to happen here, I would be involved as soon as possible. If nothing else I would post a short mention hey this is how we do things here. I think the colored user names would either help or hurt but my hope would be help.
