I believe so. There is no indicator of there being a soul or anything more than this right here.

It is unfortunate in a way but think of it like this. It is easily proven that the human brain is not equipped for eternity. So if you have a "soul" it is a pale shadow of what you are here and now to exist in eternity.
Shame people can't accept that and be decent members of society.
