It probably has a lot to do with the popularity of your account on reddit, youtube, insta, whatever... Then they approach you.
I sold my Reddit account for 120 bucks back in early 2016. I was a paid, and now that account posts anti Trump comments. I'm a shill by proxy kinda...
Right but how did the guy who posts the comments get that job?
Look up Quality Guest Posts and Redditsecrets.com
see my other post in the thread.
Call up Correct the Record and tell them you're really good at giving head and have premium knee pads.
That's how I got rejected from Elizabeth Warren's meme team though.
Edit: They were really positive about my prospects for getting the job and then yanked it away at the last minute. Total Indian givers.
Can you divulge some secrets about that? Who approached you? What was their reddit username? What was the name you sold? I would like to follow this.
The payment came from a company called Quality Guest Posts they are also affiliated with redditsecrets.com. They both still have an active website.
I wasn't personally contacted. I was speaking more in speculation how it usually could work. In my instance there was word of mouth that people were buying accounts. At that point I was completely fed up with Reddit, so I figured why not get some cash out of the account. So I contacted them and said I was interested.
I don't want to mention the user name. I posted more personal information there, and while not likely to dox it is more than I'm comfortable linking to here. A little info on the account. It is 10 years old. The account was actually not used for quite some time. Then after about a year I noticed activity. Seemingly random stuff, sports talk and w/e. Then it started getting political, anti-trump. I never noticed it trying to sell products.
Ok now we're getting somewhere.
Understood about not doxxing yourself. Thanks for sharing.
