Well there is no censorship here unless you intend to harm the site, but we still wanted to reward people who contribute and we didn't actually apply the rule in the first place I used throat(phuks) code to create poal. Once i had it running showed up and helped me immensely in customizing it for our needs, one of the limitations they had was 10 post per day plus a few others on new accounts we removed what was easy to remove and that one isn't easy to remove so we just increased it to 60 thinking its only ever going to stop real spammers at the number.

As above, 60+60 posts a day is hardly a restriction at all...

I think once shit starts hitting the fan more often, you might want to think carefully about what constitutes 'harming the site'. If you get some blundering Hillary-loving SJW that almost everyone hates, downvotes to hell, and calls a shill, are they 'harming the site', or should their rights to speak be the same as everyone else?

Yes it should be their right to speak. Absolutely I wouldn't restrict that at all. Harming the site basically boils down to 2 things spam out side a shitposting sub(had to learn that one the hard way) or posting CP. CP is grounds for an immediate ban and I will send the entire history of that user to the appropriate authorities I take that very seriously. Beyond that I hope it doesn't become an echo chamber, I'd love for some of those people to show up. I don't expect they will win many arguments but they are free to have their subs and use them how they see fit.

I'd love for some of those people to show up.

I'd love for some to show up as well, as I think it's sad how little people across ideological divides seem to communicate with each other.

Of course, if a lot of them show up you're going to have your old users (who have helped build the site up) freaking out and calling 'hostile takeover' as the ideological landscape of the place shifts. Worst-case-scenario, if the users who have helped build the site from infancy become an ideological minority, it's going to be very hard to try to stand by 'free speech' at all costs... plenty of potential for things to get complicated.
