I got married the day before I turned 21. My husband was 31. Alot of my so called friends acted like I was crazy to get married that young.

Too many women my age do not value marriage. They slut around until they are 27 and then try to find someone to marry. Guess what honey, no one wants a used up slut. And now you only have a few good child bearing years left.

Thoughts?

Married my wife at 23, she was 22. Been married for a little over 10 years now. But we didn't have kids until 5 years into the being married. Doctors told her she had a little to no chance to being able to get pregnant, and if she did she would not be able to carry to full term.

I now have two very beautiful and healthy daughters (and lots of guns ;) )

Congrats that’s almost like my story. Waited 6 years and then started and now I also have 2 healthy daughters. Need to get on that guns thing.

Married at 18 my wife was 19. I think we made the right call. Took a while to figure out how to be married but we got there eventually. Over a decade later we are still going.

That is rare. I am glad to hear that. My husband and I have been married for six years. Took me a long time to figure out cooking!

We are far from perfect but we do our best, it sounds like you have a good understanding of what makes life worth living

Married at 20, husband was 25. We’ll be celebrating 33 years married next month. And now I’ve just outed that I am an old lady hahaha. Had a very rough patch around year 12. Saw it through and couldn’t be happier.

Holy shit 33 years! I hope to make it that long.

That's a common time for rough patches. How did you break through the patch?

A combination of marriage counseling and adherence to the idea of 'til death do us part'. Once the D word (divorce) was off the table (it is now a forbidden word between us), it was a commitment to the idea that we're going to be together forever, so we may as well get back to making it healthy, fun, and rewarding. It was neither easy nor quick, but it truly strengthened us as individuals, and as a couple. I am grateful every single day.

Currently have a gf, but don’t think I’ll be marrying her. She doesn’t want kids, so I’m just holding out until fall semester starts. Then I’ll be looking for my Trad qt3.14

I’m also 22

What kind of woman doesnt want kids?

Good luck finding trad wife!

You did the smart thing. it is a wasteland out here. Men without a family go bad after a certain age is true. We need each other for balance and it is bad after a certain point.

[–] 3 pts

That is true. Unfornately right now women are being encouraged to be sluts. White women are being encouraged to be with black men. It is terrible. I just want to buy a billboard space that says. WOMEN, QUIT BEING SLUTS.

I don't think most people have the capacity to think and plan long term.

Societal engineering has made them like this. All part of the plan

Married at 34 to a 30 year old woman. Still married, so I guess it was the right choice.
