What minds needs to do is focus on social grouping, like facebook does (which contrary to what people claim, is thriving). People like to consume content more than create it, which means minds is focused on the wrong user actions.

If I were running minds I'd be using a combination of hand selection, and algorithm to sell or distribute content to various outlets around the net, and use something like disqus for comments (building a corporate alliance). This gets them 1. views outside their own network, 2. opens up avenues to working with or being acquired by other companies, 3. lets them better fulfill their half of the obligation created by someone using a 'boosted' token.

They have content, they lack the viewers/users. Lots of sites have the users/viewers, but lack cheap content. 'Awareness is the new currency' is a phrase frequently used by vapid cunts, but in this case is true.

I know lots of people say otherwise. That always seemed silly.
