I'm just going by how much I enjoyed them as captains. If you go by historical importance Archer would be number one and Janeway might be number 2 for the whole defeating the Borg thing

Sisko could have been a great character, but the acting was so all over the place from oddly over the top to awkward to just bad. And Jake. What a pretty much useless waste of acting / character space. Don't get me started on the Dad. Had to skip any scene he was due to the acting being unwatchable.

Janeway should never have been in command of anything larger than an Oberth class. She should have used the array and sent her crew back to the Federation. She stayed to help the Ocampa right? Then why the fuck did she immediately leave? The fucking Kazon are still there. They were fucked either way, she might as well have just went home. That indecisiveness is why women shouldn't be in command. So, if my options are only Archer or Janeway, then Archer full stop. At least he told the uppity holier than thou Vulcan's to go fuck themselves.

Having rewatched it recently (Voyager) I forgot just how weak a premise the whole show was built on. Use the fucking array! Seriously?
But once you get a few episodes on and start to forget the array, I think Janeway proves herself, especially in later seasons where she gets way more badass. I think I still like Archer better though. I think they had something good going near the end of Enterprise as it got darker, but alas were not able to bring it to conclusion due to cancellation.
