Pretty sure they called this 'ready boost' back in the windows vista days. Use a 4gb flash drive for extra ram b/c both your operating system and hardware are trash magically at the same time.

Well, this is external graphics, not "ram" or ready-boost. I guess the concept is similar just a different application.
