I would never live in a home with an HOA. My neighborhood has CC&Rs, but in 25 years of living here, they’ve never been enforced. In fact, just recently got a hold of them through the county as we’re putting another building on the property. They’re (CC&Rs) laughable. It’s a neighborhood of 11 large homes each on 2+ acres. We are the riff raff of the neighborhood and no one bothers us.
