That is insightful, but I think the meme-ing of the establishment/left is just less obvious to most because it's mainstream (not counter-culture) and because we've been inundated with it since birth. Think about the oft repeated mantras (e.g. "Diversity is our strength"), the cliche narrative cues in the vast majority of media, the long history of subliminal messaging... Their memes have been devastatingly effective.
