Get a pine phone and pick a linux distro (pine64.org) to run on it. If you're not comfortable with cli linux it's going to be a bad decade for you.

While I love(!) the idea of the Pine or Libram Linux based phones… They suck. Pains in the ass and just a headache all around even when they function properly.

Check out the Short Circuit review vid on the link you shared. Even a very tech savvy programmer like the host thought it was laughable.

I do not actually. I’ve been on an iPhone since like 2010 and I really need to get my shit together, learn Linux, and get a phone like this one.

I’m being lazy and using the “going from zero Linux knowledge to literate in Linux isn’t necessary yet so it’s not worth the effort” excuse which even I know is BS.

Reading about it. I really use the camera on my phone a ton. More than text and call. Is it possible to wipe my phone and use Linux or Ubantu on it? Then I still get the camera but the benefits of the OS? I maybe asking for too much.
