I think the only thing humans get absolutely none of from plants is B12. Out in the dusty, dirty wild they are probably getting B12 by various means as they eat plant material. I would assume most animals need it since it's involved in the nervous system. In humans it is highly recyclable, and you can stop eating it for 2-3 years without a problem.
