We switched feed and went from 2-4 eggs to 7-10 eggs. For the winter this is much better.
Looking to grow my own feed crops this next year. Sun flower, barley, amaranth, still looking for other crops too.
We also stopped going to tractor supply for many reasons including their WEF support.
I go into a Tractor Supply maybe 2 or 3 times a year. I had no idea they were WEF fucks. Time to update that boycott list.
Here's their announcement for being great diverse ESG company company: https://corporate.tractorsupply.com/newsroom/news-releases/news-releases-details/2022/Tractor-Supply-Company-Named-to-Forbes-List-of-Best-Employers-for-Diversity-2022/default.aspx
And here's a video on tractor supply sponsoring a family friendly drag queen show https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0YaM3-uqUuo
It's wider ranging than just Tractor Supply. I asked my mom who has a lot of friends with chickens if she's heard anything and she sent me this text from her friend: It's so true! I was buying some off brand non gmo non soy from waynes feed store when mountain valley was out of our regular feed. Debby and I both bought some and the girls stopped laying. The bag Said 16% protein but it could not have been. So, I added raw ground beef daily and they were laying with in a week. I now get my non gmo, non soy from the tucker line over in Hiawassee.
I wonder if these local shops are picking up and re-packaging and re-selling Tractor Supply feed.
Sweet white sorghum is versatile, every part of the plant can be fed to creatures. Makes nice syrup too. The white is highest in protein of the varieties.
Thanks I'll put it on the list!
