Alright, Android on iOS is coming! Initial testing has been done and I can confirm it’ll work on all iPhones. Even iPhone 16 should be supported. I’d say performance is very much like native! Some work needs to be done still, but I’ll keep you posted for it’s release.

The phone itself probably would have continued working fine, but my biggest issue was that application vendors just stopped supporting the version of Android I had. I assume some of that was due to taking advantage of newer features in updated versions of Android, but some of it was due to the vendor's "THIS ISN'T SAFE ANYMORE REEEEEEE" mentality. To be fair, I could have updated to 5.0 but 5 was a turd.

I was running up against the battery dying after 8 years, the 4.x cert expiration, and the old non-VoLTE network sunsets. Only third-party batteries, and none of those worked, the other two issues weren't solvable by me because the technology no longer existed.
