Whenever I see a post like this I always recommend the documentary film 'Africa Blood & Guts' as a great watch to show how a country can so easily be turned in on itself through subversive elements manipulating the media and political process (and yes, surprise surprise, it is exactly the same elements and the same play book at work in the USA today).
Dubbed, censored
Thanks I'll look, which one is dubbed and which one is censored?
The dubbed one (second link) is also the censored one, I think it's about 20 minutes shorter.
There is some amazing footage, an italian documentary crew spent I think 6 years in africa filming the revolutions. You see the same communist subversion you see today in america, the same demonization of whites, the same malicious enervation of the blacks (and if you look closely you you will see the same eternal hunched figures with their black rimmed spectacles amongst the revolutionaries conducting the whole affair, it's really quite deja vu).
For me the footage of the zanzibar massacres were the most affecting, as they fly over the slaughter in helicopters whilst the blacks massacre everyone on the island, bodies floating in the surf, not enough boats to escape.
Damn...
