It's mostly the addition of sugar to everything. Sugar is highly addictive, causes you to overeat and be unable to properly regulate hunger, and you constantly crave more and more of it.
It's also super high in calories.
Before they changed the "food pyramid" to the shitty "6-12 SERVINGS of fucking BREAD, goy", the average American ate more fats and protein, fewer carbs and sugar etc.
This directly contributes to how fat people are. It's hard to find shit that doesn't have tons of sugar added to it, and people eat WAY too much bread (which converts to sugar anyway).
