Long - short, Colin said “just because you’re down with the cause doesn’t mean the cause is down with you” that bit of wisdom and years or cardio got me out of a four on one beat down. Since then head on a swivel and I just avoid them.

Yeah a lot of us were down with the cause when we were younger. Who wants to be the bad guy?

Takes a while to get rid of the cognitive dissonance. I'm glad you were able to escape.

If you live around blacks I highly recommend a concealed carry permit.

The cognitive dissonance was ingrained. While our parents taught us not to judge others by the color of their skin. POCs were taught to stick together.
