Honestly, i think he's just had the rude awakening that his country wasn't what he thought it was and is correctly shifting focus to the good things in life he can affect. Just because he felt he had a moral obligation to protest doesn't mean it's result was worth the strain on his family. The FBI arresting little old flag waiving grannies b/c police invited the crowd in... I'm ashamed of this country.
