The Southwest is a desert, no desertification required. If Vegas stopped wasting water in fountains, Phoenix wasting water on lawns & golf courses and LA stopped being a ridiculous, waste shithole, the water problems would be less problematic. Taking water from ranchers & farmers to feed massive golf courses in the desert makes me want them to die of thirst. Water is precious in the west, these assholes deserve what they get.

If I were in charge I'd just build many nuclear powered desalination plants on the West Coast. The Pacific Ocean has all the water you need.

You have a point that it might be more of a people problem though. The thought occurred to me that if we made the SouthWest more livable today the business jews would just pack it full of millions more shit skins.
