They graded the test on the spot when I took it. Then the guy asked if I wanted to try the general, figured why not.

Yes, they tell you on the spot and most will give you the opportunity to go for a higher class or your code class without extra fees.

I've tried the practice tests and realize I don't know enough about the frequency bands to pass yet.
