I bought a pair of uv5r radios but haven't done anything with them yet.

charge the battery & start scanning for traffic - hearing others out there could be the inspiration to do more

Well I said nothing but I did program one of them to some local repeaters and to NOAA via chirp. Just haven't done anything beyond that.

well, shit - you're ahead of me. got very frustrated trying to program repeater & pl codes last night
