They're not invading us and raping/killing us. If the're really there observing us from a distance, not threatening us when they have the ability to wipe us all out (if they figured out how to warp space and power that technology to be able to travel here, they are far more advanced than our public technology), then their lack of actions against us prove they are not here to harm us.
