Yeah, truly! They were pretty rudimentary originally. When I was a kid, the we'd take those things to Catalina all the time; I loved it. Super noisy radial engines, and from the passenger ompartment you could kind of see the pilot and his controls a little. Super awesome from a kid's perspective.
