Water, preferably hot, soap and a cotton cloth to dab dry is all you need. Alcohol based sprays and microfiber cloths WILL cause scratches. Add-on "anti-scratch" coating is a gimmick.

If someone told me that when I was a little'n then I'd be be several thousands of dollars richer today. One year on with the same lenses and not a single scratch.

Rinsing with low flow, smooth running water can almost achieve zero spots of water.

Depends on the frames of course
