It's like, the knight doesn't go and slay the dragon then expect to live off the townsfolk for the rest of his life. He is supposed to melt back into society. I know, I know what it is like to be waken in the middle of the night with visions of faces I never bothered to take a good look at, patrol the house for no reason, braced the door because I just sleep better... but I don't whine about it.
