Someone apparently finally realized that marketing to people who have no money, and literally no concept of "save for tomorrow" isn't going to work. I'm sure they've been fired or reprimanded.

I can't remember which bank it was that did something similar many decades ago, they wanted a "younger" crowd, advertised to such, and quickly found out that the people they wanted didn't really have any money...

It appears you can sell stuff to people with money while also pushing an unrelated psychological attack featuring actors who don't look like people who have money.

Moreover, these ad agencies have real power (they dictate the message, and if the company doesn't like it for anti-PC/traditional values reasons they will punish them) and they operate like a trust. There's no ad agency that I know of that frequently bucks the common trends.

Either it works or the people who hire ad companies don't have any options that don't insist on doing this. It's hard to imagine they don't notice. Maybe they are too scared to speak up against "diverse" casting choices.

If you are aware of the Nivea controversy, you can see what can happen in this situation. And there is probably a big even chilling effect that no one else is willing to fight it.

Yes. Take a look at the sub banner. When I came to Poal, I wanted to be as positive as possible, even while being critical of race issues.

I saw a few hours of tv every day so I decided I would praise companies and advertisers that featured white families (husband, wife, and child(ren)).

Not only did I find actual instances of white families to be surprisingly few, but also the most pro-white videos were being taken offline rapidly.

Hence, the banner.

There are white couples (presumably childless). There are white husband/light-skinned hispanic wife couples and/or family. There is the ever popular human and negress combo. There is single mom and one child or husband not pictured (ambiguous, but not really). There's LOTS of black on white, with or without children.

But there are no ads with white families.

They are being erased.
