That would apply to smart phones too, but those have already gone up in price.

This will be temporary. Once the AI bubble bursts and the data center overbuild grinds to a halt they will be begging consumer product manufacturers to buy their RAM. Prices will come back down to sanity (still higher than before, of course) and people will buy the new brainwashing devices they had been waiting for.
