Not all Asians are smart and basically no blacks are. This should not shock anyone. Also, take note that the "researchers" that "discovered" this all happen to appear to be non-White. SHOCKING.

From the post:

>AI algorithms exhibit racial bias in job candidate screening, and they discriminate more frequently against those applying for multiple jobs at different companies, according to Stanford-led researchers. The boffins evaluated algorithmic hiring decisions across multiple employers that use the same hiring vendor. The resulting algorithmic monoculture, they say, is problematic. The vendor in this instance was talent platform pymetrics, acquired by Harver in 2022. Harver did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

When people applied for jobs at these companies, they were directed to pymetrics' machine learning platform to play assessment games.

I was wondering what these “games” were like, so I searched YouTube for pymetrics assesment games.

Some of them measure your tendency for risk taking. Others are partly instruction following exercises and partly hand to eye coordination.

The funny thing to me is that a few of the tests involved hitting the space bar rapidly. If you have an expensive, tactile keyboard that is good for typing you won’t be able to this well. A typical, flat laptop keyboard makes those exercises much easier.

All of the videos I found about this were by people who help prepare job seekers for these tests. Like usual, getting a job requires knowledge and skills that have nothing to do with actually doing that job well once you are hired.
