There's no mention of Privacy. So even though it doesn't use 3rd party API, but a local model instead, it doesn't state that prompts and resulting data aren't sent to a 3rd party server.
That's true, it would probably use search engines, depending on the model and what you tell it to do. It should be possible to run it on a nonconnected computer.
I'm using ollama with fully blocked network access and several local models I manually download & install.
When I first installed one of the llamas (forgot) it was all command line driven on macOS. Then did some digging and had to at command disable all telementary. Installed an image generator as well (fucking junk couldn’t draw and oven, bone crusher, or rollacoster) it to had prompt data send and has to turn off. Then deleted that shit. Not sure if ollama or the likes has it now. Haven’t looked. Have qwen installed on an older box for speed testing, 7b no you. It’s not horrid.
