From the post:

>Everyone in San Francisco is talking about the singularity. At dinner parties, at coffee shops, at the OpenClaw meetup where Ashton Kutcher showed up for some reason. The conversations all have the same shape: someone says it's coming, someone says it's hype, and nobody has a number. This seems like the wrong question. If things are accelerating (and they measurably are) the interesting question isn't whether. It's when. And if it's accelerating, we can calculate exactly when.

Give them time. They will catch on and the betting will be month-by-month probably. That or they don't want to touch it at all since it could be daily.

I want in now, for $10, and then hit that date, and get a 6,000,000x return.... Like when I didn't get into bitcoin in 2009 and said this is nonsense and will never be worth anything, when it was trading at like .0027 a fucking coin......If I invested 1 week of drinking in that nonsense, I'd well, likely been dead, as I would have taken that billion and done some real stupid shit.

yeah. 20/20 and such.

Though. In theory, once the singularity hits.. Money simple won't matter anymore. I don't know what it would look like but anything that we consider existence for the last 10k years would no longer matter.

The world actually ended on October 23rd, 1997 at 3PM EDT. You're welcome.
