There is enough “negativity around AI” that the CEO of Nvidia felt the need to respond to it. The truth is getting out. The AI bubble’s growth is slowing. It’s not going to slowly deflate though. It’s going to burst.

Just a thought: I hope it (AI bubble) can continue long enough to annihilate all green energy garbage like wind farms. For AI to succeed more efficient souces of energy are needed such as nuclear power plants. I suspect Venezuela + Greenland might be because of this space race v2 AI edition too. Trump seems pretty desperate, but why precisely now? Because the economy will crash if AI server parks are not fed. If the whole etablishment sides with AI then the green energy craze will die soon. AI still sucks but maybe it can take out something that sucks even more i.e. force people to stop pretending green energy works.

Maybe. The GPUs and RAM they use in data centers are not the same as what we use in most consumer devices. Some of the manufacturing may be able to switch over to consumer hardware though. That would definitely make things cheaper for us.
