“Hiring is still too slow and too hard, and we’re using AI to make it simpler and more personal — for both job seekers and employers,” he said at the time.
AI isn't going to help the fact that employers want the moon for the price of a grain of sand - and in some cases have no idea what they want. AI also isn't going to help the fact that companies want H1B or Tyrone to fill jobs. It's also not going to help the fact that employers and candidates are separated by a wall of "No HR on site" and recruiters have no idea what the employer is looking for, let alone what the difference between a medical technician and a concrete technician are.
It also doesn't help that the "employees" have been using AI to try to get hired for as long as they had access. The snake is eating its own tail.
It's quite literally a race to the bottom.
