True talk. In the toilet scrubber industry, there's new AI stuff that they tout will replace us. Self driving floor scrubbers. Mobile pressure washers that can scour a bathroom. Industrial sized roombas. Etc.

Well, my business got talked into trying out one of the auto floor scrubbers. The floor in question is at the top of some stairs, generally accessible by janitorial staff via an elevator. From what I am told by those who witnessed it, IN FRONT OF THE SALES REP, the fucking scrubber went down the stairs like ED-209 in Robocop. Wish I could have been there to see it.

I may be a stupid man, but I can say I've never sent a 70k piece of equipment tumbling down some stairs.

At work I have a boss obsessed with AI. Thinks it can do anything and replace us all. My colleague and I have been tasked with training one to do some simple tasks that we trained some Indians to do the other night - there were three managers for three low level jeets. 'Don't make mistakes' 'Yes, Pushkar!' 'Spreadsheet!'

They were incapable of seeing the bigger picture. Click the delete demographics button only if the names were clearly fake like 'trauma' or 'starbabygirl' as part of the process of clearing some tasks. We don't want generic names as part of a patient record after the demos have been updated to the real thing. It's for unnamed babies, people who are admitted unconscious, drug seekers who are obviously lying, etc.

After they were given a few thousand to do, we were handed a list of questions. Does trama count? How about starbabi? And on and on. We updated the spreadsheet with more columns!!!

I do not feel guilty training an AI with the same level of 'intelligence'.

I still think all companies that outsource to jeets should be fined into oblivion. Americans can do this work. There is no excuse.

We can get the retarded AI to do it at about a 70% accuracy with no false positives. The other 30% could be handed to people with minimal brains to work.

My boss wants AI to write the notes for doctors, do medical coding, and diagnose autoimune disorders. He is insane. The thing hallucinates diseases half the time and the other half is jibberish. If I found out my doc was using any of the stuff my boss demands we make, I will find a new doctor.

Is there actually a legitimate IQ test? I've always known I'm above average IQ, but I don't know of a way to substantiate it.
