Nothing wrong with charging higher prices during higher demand. Pretty much the basis for capitalism. So is not going there if you don't like it

Sure, except you can no longer budget your meals. The price will move instantly to the prices people are willing to pay.

Already, I've stopped going to fast food due to two reasons: 1 quality and 2 cost. Instead I go to grocery stores. They now cater to the lunch crowd. I seldom wait too long and the quality is about the same as fast food or better.
